The Big Twenty For Victoria

the birthday girl!

on the 29th of jan, we decided to celebrate vic's birthday for her. well we had a hard time to decide where is best to do it. after much thoughts, the curve it was for the celebration to happen!

we didnt invite much as we want to keep it between the close friends so it was me, carmen, jenny, su-woei and of cause the star for the night victoria!

we had dinner at the apartment. the food was very delicious but the sad part about it was that its in a small portion. wasn't very satisfying, or at least for me.

after dinner we went over to the library for some beers and played some card game. i felt the whole outing was simple yet fun.

Night With The Psychs!

introducing the psychs!

well on the very 1st night of my holiday, i was invited by jenny to join them at euphoria that night. me myself felt like going as well after all the exams tension but didnt know who to go with and so happen that they invited me!

most of the time i always have doubts or thoughts that outing with a group of ppl that i'm not close with wont turn out that good but surprisingly i didnt felt this way instead i was so excited and looking forward to enjoy the night with them!

the whole night was a blast for all of us! i dont recall any awkward moment with them. only nonsense, madness, laughters and lameness! which is enough to make a night worthwhile.

well i didnt bring my camera along that night probably because i just wanna loosen up and enjoy the fullest that night. so all the credits for the pics goes to jenny!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

a big sorry to all my readers that i've not been updating my blog for almost a month now. at 1st it was due to exams and thought that i could start blogging right after exams but then my laptop broke down on the 1st day of my holidays.

all thx to my laptop, i couldn't be able to follow my dad to penang for thaipusam and had to spent the whole day in one of the IT mall in kl to get it done. the mall was freaking cold and eventually led to high fever. the best part is that i felt sick on saturday night and 4am on monday i will be flying off to east malaysia.

well looking on the brighter side of my holidays. i went to kl with jenny to alter my jeans and got something new!! then we head to sunway college for the nike day held by the psychology society. during the seminar/ workshop, they thought us what's the meaning of fitness and healthy. besides that, they demonstrate some mini workouts that can help us toned up.

My Valentine's Day

When i 1st saw the trailer for this movie, i'm already excited about it. nope, not because its valentine's day but simply because i think it will turn out to be a good movie.

sadly this year's valentine's day fall on the 1st day of cny. meaning to say its a bad news for all those chinese couples out there or either party's a chinese. obviously family comes 1st so leaving the chinese couples to sacrifices the day where they can show appreciation to their partner.

but all thx to nuffnang, giving away 80 pairs of tix to catch the premiere screening of valentine's day 3 days before the actual screening. this is a win-win situation for chinese or non-chinese couples regarding valetine's day. for chinese couples, you can celebrate your valentine's day in advance when you go catch the premiere and then celebrate your cny without any feelings holding you back. for non-chinese, you can celebrate valentine's day twice. once during the premiere another during the actual day. all you have to do is to blog about your dream valentine's day with one of the stars from this movie like what i am doing now!

now, back to main purpose of this pose. if i can choose one of the stars in "valentine's day" to spend my valentine's day with. it would definitely be...

Julia Roberts

why?

many might ask why not jessica alba or jessica biel or jennifer garner? yes their hot and i don't deny it but appearance wont last forever. they will age and they wont be sexy or hot at the age of 70. am i right? and why julia roberts stands out among them is because of her smile .even at the age of 40, her smile has never change one bit plus it makes me feel warm whenever i sees her smile.

besides that, i prefer matured woman rather then young hot chick.

how?

well if money and time isn't an issue then.....

i will make her pancakes with strawberries and blueberries covered with honey for breakfast and fly to new york to get to her before she wakes up so that i'll be the 1st one she sees when she opens her eyes. nope, it will not be a breakfast on the bed thing.

after that, we will spend our morning in central park, new york. we will then walk around the park and have our breakfast there which is the pancakes i made. enjoying the morning fresh air, watching birds feed on worms and calmness in the park.

after enjoying the our morning in the park, we will then fly to florence, italy to have our lunch at one of the street-side restaurant. we can enjoy the cool air outdoor while sipping our coffee and enjoying our delicious food.

immediately after lunch, we then fly to venice for the well known boat ride. being in the boat with just both of us and the calm water, admiring the vintage architecture at both sides and appreciating the peaceful environment.

we then leave venice and get to alaska just in time to watch the breathtaking aurora. while we are there under the beautiful aurora, there will be a personal chief to cook us dinner whatever cuisine she desires. feasting on mouthwatering course, overwhelmed by the aurora all over our head and enjoying the moment staring into each others eyes.

i'll then end the night with a gentle kiss on her hand to show appreciation of such wonderful day spent with such wonderful person.

2010

welcoming the year 2010

1st and foremost, happy new year to all! i ended my 09 by dining with my sis and her friends at the grand dorset subang. we had japanese buffet!

headed to sunway to catch the fireworks after the dinner. it was very pretty! like the sky lighted up. and i dont think i need to mention that the crowd on that day was freaking! as if they wanna beat the rest and be the 1st to see the fireworks.

i was lucky enough to have found a spot to capture the firework at 11+. so last min! it was a simple start of the twenty ten. talk no more, enjoy the pic!

a year has came to an end, another begins. will the new year be better than the old one? will it be a year filled with joy and happiness or will it be plain misery? will 2010 be the year of luck, prosperity and success or will it be a year of living hell to all?

will whatever happens in 2009 stays in 2009? or will it be brought forward? as for me, 2009 wasn't a great year and i hope it would be better and not endless nightmares awaits me in the near future.

whatever it is, i hope you all have a great year ahead and make the fullest of 2010. anyway, we only have another 2 years right?

Parents' Silver Jubilee Anniversary

on the 28th, it was my parents 25th anniversary and they decided to make it as simple as possible. we headed to a restaurant near times square called "sakura" to celebrate my parents anniversary.

well the restaurant wasn't the best in kl in terms of service, food, environment etc. but we still went there because we had one of the best moment together there when me and my sis were still very young.

when i was there all the memory came back crystal clear in my head like it was on live feed. the place that we sat, the foods that we had and the laughters we shared. i dont think that any other restaurant would give a such wonderful time.

although it wasn't long but it was still very meaningful night with my family. here are the shots i took when we were at sakura. enjoy!

as you can see that we couldn't be able to have a complete family pic because one of us had to hold the cam right? and it was kinda hard to camwhore so eventually we had to ask other ppl to help us out. so i asked a waiter and our conversation went...

me :excuse me, can you help us to take a picture?

waiter :oh ok sure

me : ok,(passed the cam to him and assume he dont know how to use it) you click half and wait for the beep then only you fully click.

waiter :which one? (the confused expression)

me :this one.

waiter : oh ok.

while he was about to take, there was a lady that wanted to cross and she stopped for him to get it done with. i went to him after 2 shots and the conversation continued

me : there's someone that wanna cross

waiter : oh ok.

me :there's someone that wanna cross..

waiter :oh ok (but all he does was stood still)

me : there's someone that wanna cross!! (i got a little frustrated as i somehow couldn't make him understad me)

waiter :oh ok (AGAIN!! stood still)

lady : excuse me. (tap his shoulder gently)

i think he only understood what i was trying to tell him after that lady tapped on his shoulder. he felt quite embarrassed. he pass me back my cam and walk away. later on, my family and i kinda laugh about it as he "oh ok" so many times and did nothing.

i think he heard us laughing and made him felt more embarrassed. i know right, i'm such an ass for laughing at others! now i feel guilty for what i did.

this is the end result. it was suppose to be vertical. but i like the angle and the blurry effect the waiter unintentionally made.

so thx alot! credits go the the waiter!

a white lady saw the situation that we were in so she came over and offer to help us out. i think she knew how to use a SLR. she held it quite confidently and the result came out better. it was very nice of her. thx

when we were about to head home i could have directed my dad to a faster way back to my apartment but instead i kept quiet and let him took a longer way around kl just so i could spend that extra time with them even though it was in the car.

p.s: i'm glad you love the view from my balcony.

Boxing Day!!

I don't really know what's boxing day is about and at one point i thought it was a celebration for boxer and the sport it self. Now, all i know about boxing day is that you get big discount on branded stuff. the worst part is, its not practice in M'sia.

i was invited to angel's house on boxing day for a BBQ dinner. it was good seeing her again after so long!! had a lot of fun, tried a lot of weird drinks, ate burnt sausages and got to know a few of angel's friend!
